A lush, glass-domed garden deep inside the ship. The air
glows gold from the filtered sunlight. Flowers sway gently
to the hum of the ship’s melodies, their petals slowly
shimmering like they’re breathing.
ADAIS sits on a marble ledge, trimming a vine that curls
around a metal arch. COEL enters, holding a small datapad,
looking at her location at the datapad from across the room.
Coel puts the datapad aside as soon as he sees Adais.
COEL
(calmly)
You always hide here when things
get serious.
ADAIS
(thoughtful, continuies
trimming)
I'm not hiding. It’s just... quiet,
Coel. Flowers don’t gossip.
COEL
(sits next to Adais)
No, but they do judge you with
their stares.
I'm better with machines.
ADAIS
(turns to Coel)
That’s... debatable. I think you
are not good at anything.
(smiles)
Mhm?
Coel moves closer to Adais.
COEL
(thoughtful)
So... I heard the Captain called
you. Visitors from the other
colonies?
Adais freezes for a second — then casually leaves the
scissors-like tool aside.
ADAIS
(casually)
From Pluto, actually. They just
want to talk. They know about me
and... I feel like... I should talk
to them.
COEL
(frowns, surprised)
Wait— you’re actually going?
ADAIS
(confidently)
I already said yes. So...
Coel’s expression darkens.
COEL
(slowly)
Adais… you don’t even know who they
are...
(a brief silence)
What if it’s another trap? You
can’t keep—
ADAIS
(interrupts)
It’s not a trap, Coel. I'm sure it—
COEL
(interrupts, angrily)
You don’t know that! You always act
like you know everything, Adais!
He closes his eyes and inhales — trying to calm himself
down.
COEL (CONT'D)
(with a calmer temper)
You think everything is just a
game, or a song you can enjoy — but
one day, it’s going to end with
tears...
ADAIS
(smiling gently)
Then I’ll make sure it ends with
happy tears.
That line disarms him completely.
He stares at her — torn between anger and admiration.
COEL
(takes a long breath,
nodding negatively)
You’re impossible.
ADAIS
(smiles)
That’s what you like about me.
A notification sound echoes through the ship.
DIGITAL VOICE
Five minutes until night time.
Adais stands up and walks a step away.
COEL
(with a sad air)
At least tell me what they want.
ADAIS
(shrugs)
Maybe they’re bringing flowers. Or
maybe...
She leans towards Coel and they come face to face - feeling
each others' breaths. She finishes her line with a whisper
and aggression mixed voice.
ADAIS (CONT'D)
(whispers)
... they’re bringing war.
She chuckles as she straightens up again.
He glares with worried eyes.
ADAIS (CONT'D)
(softly, walking away)
It’s just a conversation. There is
nothing to worry about.
He looks toward the glass dome.
COEL
(to himself)
I hope so.
From a few meters away, Adais turns and looks at Coel.
ADAIS
It’s almost night. You should get
some rest.
COEL
You?
ADAIS
I’ll see you when the light
returns.
She turns to leave. Coel watches her go — silent,
conflicted. The humming plants pulse once more, as if
echoing her departure.

Many staff members are seated, working at panels and
monitors in front of them. One staff member has a timer on

MONTAGE – THE NIGHT FALLS ON PLUTO
The light pillars within the corridor flicker, then dim to a
deep bluish hue. The glassy corridor floors glimmer like
veins. People walking stop for a moment, bathed in the soft
light.
Rows of alien plants fold their leaves inward as artificial
night appears on the dome.
Kids playing near the holographic fountains watch as the
water changes color from bright gold to indigo. Their
laughter softens. The sound of the music hushes.
A guard sips from his mug, staring out the window as the
surface of Venus continues to remain at Dusk.
The massive ships continues their journey.

Night Cycle: ACTIVE
A low, humming sound fills the room. The woman with the

A soft chime echoes. The door slides open — a tall escort
officer, HAWKEYE (female, 30s, scar on her face) fully
uniformed, stands in the dim light.
HAWKEYE
(confidently)
Lady Adais. I'm Lieutenant Hawkeye.
I'll be your escort tonight.
Adais nods. Her face is calm, but her eyes show hesitation.
ADAIS
(curious)
Any... problems?
HAWKEYE
(surprised a little)
No... No problem at all, my lady.
We are extra cautious. Especially
tonight.
Adais exhales softly — and follows.
